Network diagnostics & security

Simple network tools for your business.

Check your public IP address, run pings, perform DNS lookups, estimate password strength, check if a password appears in known breaches, and inspect IP information directly from Sky Outsource’s secure tools portal.

Network & security utilities available

These tools are designed to be safe to run from shared hosting while still providing helpful diagnostics. Data is not stored; each request is processed on demand.

Your public IP address

This is the public IP address our servers see for your connection. You can share this with support when troubleshooting access or firewall rules.

Detected IP:
216.73.216.191
If you are behind a VPN or corporate firewall, this might be your gateway or VPN egress IP.

Ping a host

Send a small number of ICMP echo requests to a hostname or IP to check if it responds and see basic latency from our servers.

We send a small, fixed number of packets. Results may differ from pings run on your own network.

DNS lookup

Query DNS records (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX) for a hostname. Useful to verify that your domain is resolving as expected from the Internet.

We try to return A, AAAA, CNAME and MX records where available.

Password strength checker

Quickly estimate the strength of a password. The check runs entirely in your browser — we do not send or store your password.

For safety, don’t reuse real production passwords here; test with similar patterns instead.
Strength: Start typing...
  • Use at least 12–16 characters
  • Mix upper/lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols
  • Avoid names, dates, or obvious patterns

Pwned password exposure check

Check if a password appears in the public Pwned Passwords database of known data breaches. We never store your password — we hash it on the server and only send a partial hash to the service.

For best privacy, don’t paste a production password here. Test a similar pattern instead.

IP reputation & info

Look up basic information about an IP address — country, ISP/organization and a simple risk hint (for example, whether it looks like hosting/VPN or regular access network).

This uses a third-party IP information service over HTTPS from our server. Results are approximate and should be combined with your own logs and security tools.
